Theresa McCoy currently serves as an Associate Director of Corporate Responsibility for Merck & Co., Inc., Kenilworth, N.J. USA. In this role, Ms. McCoy advises Merck’s Business Divisions and Support Functions around issues related to access to health, product donations and employee productivity. Most recently, Ms. McCoy assumed responsibility for leading the award winning Mectizan Donation Program, and managing Merck’s Medical Outreach and Patient Assistance Programs. Combined, Ms. McCoy oversees the donation of over $1.2 billion in market value of medicines and vaccines. Through the end of 2016, Ms. McCoy led Merck’s signature employee engagement program, the Merck Fellowship for Global Health and implemented the company’s philanthropic strategy in community, including the signature Neighbor of choice program.
Prior to joining Merck in 2003, Ms. McCoy held various research and evaluation roles at the Education Testing Service (ETS), the New York City Board of Education and the New York State Psychiatric Institute.
Ms. McCoy majored in Bio Psychology at Barnard College, Columbia University, where she graduated
